If the exterior angles of a regular polygon measure 9 inches, how many sides does the polygon have?

Well, to the best of my knowledge, you're going to need to know the number sides of the regular polygon to calculate the exterior angle measures. Are you sure this is all you're given? 9 in. for each side doesn't help me at all..

Ext. < of rp = 360/n

n= number of sides

*EDIT: All the angle measures add up to 9 inches?
