Let f(x) = x+3, g(x) = 1/(x-3)
Evaluate:
D) f(g(2))

I need help with this! I don't understand how to approach the question.

Here are my thought patterns:

f(x) = x+3, g(2) = 1/(2-3)
f(x) = x+3, g(2) = 1/-1
f(x) = x+3, g(2) = -1

I don't know where to go from there..

Another way:

f[g(x)] = g(x) + 3 = 1/(x-3) + 3 = (3x - 8)/(x-3)

f[g(2)] = (6-8)/(2-3) = 2
