okay i have to factor:

1 + 125x^3

what i came up with for an answer is: (1+5x)(1-5x+5x^2)
which comes from the formula: (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)

Is this answer correct because that is all i can come up with?

You have an error. Think about the value you assigned to b to make your "formula" work. Is b=5x or just x? Then, what is b[sup:kfokyl6v]2[/sup:kfokyl6v]?
