In my textbook, there was this one problem: 4x^4+12X^3-40X^2

The answer I had written down was:
=4X^2(X^2+3X-10)
=4X^2(X+5)(X-2)

I looked in the back of the book for the correct answer and it reads different:
=4X^2(X^2-3X-10)
=4X^2(X-5)(X+2).

I looked over my answer and checked for possibilities of where I made an error, but I could not find anything wrong with it. Either maybe the book is wrong, or I am totally lost. Does anyone have a idea?

Thank You for your help if anyone finds the problem.

You're correct; if the expression is 4x^4 + 12X^3 - 40X^2

Your book's answer is to: 4x^4 - 12X^3 + 40X^2 ; ask for a refund
