C^2x^2+x^2-^2-1
or
C to the second power x to the second power plus (+) x to the second power minus (-) c to the second power minus (-) 1[/code]

So you have the expression "c2x2 + x2 - c2 - 1". What are you supposed to do with this. (No instructions were included within your message.)

Hello, stargil2989!

Factor: C2x2 + x2 - C2 - 1
.
When given four or more terms, think of factoring "by grouping".

Factor: .x2(C2 + 1) - (C2 + 1)

Factor: .(C2 + 1) (x2 - 1)

Factor: .(C2 + 1) (x - 1) (x + 1)
