"it" being some automated checker? Might try modifying your answer, like [imath]y=-0.8x + 0.6[/imath]. It is difficult to figure out from your post what format is expected, but to the best of my knowledge your answer is 100% correct.

As I read it, they want the ordered pair (x, y) = (x, (-4x+3)/5). That's what it would mean to say "If the system is dependent, express your answer in terms of x, where y = y(x)", given the format you have to type into.
