Find coressponding values of tanx for each x in 0°≤x≤270°
Hello I made a graph from 0 degrees to 60, with degrees on the x axis and sinx and tanx on the Y.
I found that the equation sinx=tanx the value of x which shows this is 0°
Now they ask derive the value for which sinx=tanx in the range 90°≤x≤270°
I can do this by memorization because I know sin 180° and tan 180°= 0°.
However I'm not 100% on that method.
And then they ask finally
''find the corresponding values of tanx for each value of x in the range 0°≤x≤270°''
This I'm also not sure of, the answer is 0, 0.
My guess is that they just took the tan of the two x values I just found which are 0 degrees and 180 degrees and those are the only angles that will give you a tanx of 0 in that range.
