Find each missing fraction

Can you calculate the value of "z" - in fraction form - if:

5 * z = 9 ?

I take it that x/y is the "fraction" and you don't want to find x and y separately. Since x/y is multiplied by 2/3, divide both sides by 2/3 (which is the same as multiplying by 3/2).

2/3 * x/y = -3/8

In order to get -3 in the numerator we will need a 3 and another 3 in x to cancel the 3 in the denominator of 2/3. So we must have -9. And we must have 8 and another 2 to cancel the 2 in its numerator. -9/16.
