ok so my problem is...
a=sqrt of 12
b= 6
and c =?

i tried seeing what happened if i changed the sqrt of 12 into a
simplified radicand of 2sqrt 3 which is equivalent to sqrt of 12
but i didnt know what else to do

Is this a guessing game?
What are a,b,c; triangle sides? Right triangle?

if c is the hypotenuse of a right triangle, find each missing measure
given that
a= sqrt of 12
b=6
and c=?

yes right triangles

Substitute the two given values (for a and b) into the Pythagorean Theorem, and then simplify.

c^2 = a^2 + b^2
