Hi aquamistique, Assuming you have two matrices equal to each other, simply set the corresponding cells equal to each other and solve for each variable. [1] \(\displaystyle 2\frac{1}{2}-w=\frac{1}{2}+w\) [2] \(\displaystyle 5\frac{3}{4}=x-\frac{1}{4}\) Get the idea?
