I'd suggest finding the altitude (blue) first, using the left-hand triangle. Then use the right-hand triangle to find x.

I think I got it.
So tan40=x/41 ---> 34.40308488
tan65=x/34.40308488
34.40308488tan(65) = 73.777
x = 73.78

Good. That's what I got, so it must be right.

Well, you did do what the good Dr. suggested.

I'm a little nervous about your rounding. It's okay as it stands, but it may be a dangerous business rounding first to thousandths AND THEN rounding to hundreths.
