First quadrant? They give sqrt{13}*sin(x) + 3 = 0, where 0 degrees < x < 90 degrees

If not a typo, then the intended answer is "there is no such solution". A null solution set is a valid answer!
 
Sine > 0 in quad I, so most probably is a typo.
I thought it might be, although they continued calculating the x value, and got -2, then proceeded calculationg Tanx, and got 3/2...so, I would go with no solution!..thanx a lot guys!
 
If tan(x) = 3/2, then cos(x) < 0 which implies x is a quad III angle.
x would work out to be about -2.16 radians … in quad III
