Hi I know this has to do with place value but I am not understanding what is being asked, what I need to do
I know that for example,
the value of the 6 in 364 is 60, or 6 tens but don't undertand 10 ones. The phrasing of the question is throwing me off
What number is 6 tens and 10 ones?

Come on Eddy - spend a little time reading and thinking.

6 tens = 6 * 10 = ?

10 ones = 1 * 10 = ?

What's the sum?

If you have 6 ten-dollar bills and 10 one-dollar bills, how much money do you have? It is not $610 or $600.
 
thanks. it totally confused me. the ten ones!. it is no more than 10 * 1 =10
6 tens= 10+10+10+10+10 +10=60
oh my goodness!
 
it was nothing in Spanish. I might have touched the keyboard inadvertently and off that went
