I have a simple problem!
If a 30kg 30 litres tub of material covers an area of 2.7meters squared how thick/deep would the coverd area be?

I think you mean "if a volume of 30 litres (not 30 kg- that measures mass, not volume) were spread over 2.7 square meters, how deep would it be?"

Since the volume of a rectangular solid of length l, width w, and height h, is "lwh" or "(lw)h"= "area(h)" you are saying that "V= area(h)" so to find h, divide volume by area.

Of course, you will also need to know that a "litre" is the volume of a cube one decimeter to a side- that is, .1 meter per side and so is \(\displaystyle (.1 m)^3= .001 m^3\).

(And this has nothing to do with "area squared"!
