Can someone please help me work out this problem? I am confused on how to knock it out. I appreciate it!

Describe a function g(x) in terms of f(x) if the graph of g is obtained by shifting the graph of f to the right 7 units and upward 5 units and if it is vertically stretched by a factor of 5 when compared to f.

g(x) = A f(x+B) +C

where

A=

B =

C =

f(x + B) is f(x) having been shifted to the left B units (plus B = left; minus B = right).

A*f(x) is f(x) having been vertically stretched by a factor of A.
(and if A is negative, f(x) is flipped upside down.)

f(x) + C is f(x) having been shifted up C units (plus C = up; minus C = down).

"g is obtained by shifting the graph of f to the right 7 units"
Did you mean B=-7? (That would be correct.)

"and upward 5 units"
Correct; C=5.

"and if it is vertically stretched by a factor of 5 when compared to f"
A = ?
