how to:

given f={(0,5),(1,4),(2,7),(3,14)} and g(x)=2f(-x+1)+5 , find

a) g(-2) b) g(0) c) g(-3)

From the given we know that f(3)=14.
\(\displaystyle g( - 2) = 2f\left( { - \left[ { - 2} \right] + 1} \right) + 5\)

I do not think we are given enough information to find g(-3).
We don’t know f(4).

no we don't
so is that called anything because it is a thinking question question and i don't know what to do

I would not call it a "thinking question".
The is no basis upon which to say what f(4) might equal.
I would call it a poor question; i.e. poorly constructed.

Well the domain of g is \(\displaystyle \left\{ { - 2, - 1,0,1} \right\}.\)
