Gauss method

1+2+3+......+200 help!

What happens if you add the first and last terms, then the second and second from last terms, then the third and third from last terms, etc.? How many times do you get the same result? Can you get the answer or do you want to use a formula?

Just use the formula Gauss came up with when he wasa round 7 years old. So the story goes.

\(\displaystyle \frac{n(n+1)}{2}\)
