The middle two terms must add to -9v.
So you should have:
v^2 + -4v + -5v + 20
Now insert your brackets and try factorising again.

It looks like you factored out a -5 from the second half of that but accidently wrote 1 on the outside of that parenthesis instead of -5. You should have v(v-4)-5(v-4). Hope that helps!
