If I were to do this problem:

I would define the first term to be "a" and the common ratio to be "r".

Then

Tn = arⁿ ...... continue....

Your \(GP\) looks like \(500\cdot r^n\) where \(n=0,1,2.\cdots\).
You must find \(r=~?\) and the least \(n\) such that \(500\cdot r^n<0.1\).
