Find the value of "x", if ABC = 90 as shown in the graph.

I have completed some angles and found that AE = DE.
I do not know what else to do. Could you give me some ideas please.

Can be done with some unpleasant trigonometry, but I'm sure someone can see a smart, simple geometrical solution.
 
If you wish I will outline a trigonometric method, so at least you will have one method and the answer.
 
The interior angles of a quadrilateral have a sum of 360 degrees. So if you can find an expression for <EDC, you can form an equation. Does that help?
 
You're welcome. I know it's not quite what you are looking for. Let me know if you get a nice geometric proof.
