I’m having trouble answering the following questions. None of the answers seem to be correct. Can someone please take a look at them?

The equation of the red line is:
Y = 3X - 3
X - 3y = 1
X + 3y = 3

The equation of the blue line is:
Y = -X + 4
Y + 2X = 4
Y - 2X = 4

The Intersection of the lines is at:
(1, 2)
(1.2, 1.4)
(1.4, 1.2)

Re: graphing equation help please

I’m having trouble answering the following questions. None of the answers seem to be correct. Can someone please take a look at them?

The equation of the red line is:
Y = 3X - 3
X - 3y = 1
X + 3y = 3

The equation of the blue line is:
Y = -X + 4
Y + 2X = 4
Y - 2X = 4

The Intersection of the lines is at:
(1, 2)
(1.2, 1.4)
(1.4, 1.2)

Calculate the slope of the line (=m) from the graph <--------------tell us what did you find for each line

Calculate the intercept of the line (=b) from the graph<--------------tell us what did you find for each line

Then the equation of the line is

Y = mX + b <--------------tell us what did you find for each line

After that you have two equations and two unknowns(x & y for the pint of intersection) - solve it and check it graphically.

Please show your work and tell us exactly where you are stuck - so that we knoe whwere to begin to help you.
