Graph the given cost and revenue functions.
R(x) = 17x
C(x) = 15x + 70
Find and graph the profit function P(x).
P(x) =2x−70

ok, so I found the profit function(please let me know if it is correct). I'm having trouble understanding how to graph.

What is 'x' in this problem? Can you define it?

Hi Dasleon. Yes, P(x) = 2x - 70 is correct.

I'm having trouble understanding how to graph.
What have you learned about graphing, so far? Here are links to some information that may help; otherwise, you need to be more specific about why you're having trouble graphing the line.

Graphing equations of straight lines

Slope of a straight line

Y-Intercept of a straight line

Properties of a straight line

Interactive practice with coordinates of points

Practice matching line graphs to their equations

Hi Dasleon. I'm following up. Were you able to eventually graph the line?

y = 2x - 70
