Hi is there such thing as a "great circle equation"? based on a intersecting plane and sphere??

I'm trying to find the points on a great circle

Did you do a Google search with key words:

I literally found reference to 16 million sites!

Hi thanks fro the reply, I'm asking about a "great circle formula" not a generic intersection of planes and sphere. Thanks again

yeah there are infinite solutions, but there are also infinite solutions for a line but y=mx+b still exists for some odd reason
it's a real simple binary question: does a formula exist for a great circle?

Your question is not clear. Do you have a sphere and a plane passing through its center, both with known equations, and you want to obtain an equation of the great circle?
