Please post your solution separately. Sorry, I can't decipher your image.View attachment 24766The solution to part C is 43.2 degrees.Mine, howevever was different (second image).View attachment 24767er,
Please explain in words what you did. What is point M? Why is [MATH]a[/MATH] not 32? And what is [MATH]x[/MATH]?View attachment 24766The solution to part C is 43.2 degrees.Mine, howevever was different (second image).View attachment 24767er,
I created a hypothetical second triangle, from F downwards (naming the side M), to find the length of a. I then made a triangle from F to a, to 30 - x to find the angle of elevation.View attachment 24766The solution to part C is 43.2 degrees.Mine, howevever was different (second image).View attachment 24767er,
But why? Please explain your thinking, and how it fits the problem. My best guess is that you don't understand that B, F, and T in the picture are all on level ground, so that FT is horizontal.I created a hypothetical second triangle, from F downwards (naming the side M), to find the length of a. Do you know law of cosine for a triangle?View attachment 24766The solution to part C is 43.2 degrees.Mine, howevever was different (second image).View attachment 24767er,
