In the accompanying diagram , lines overleftrightarrow AB and overleftrightarrow CD intersect at point E. If m angle AED=(x+10) and m angle CEB=50 , find x.

I don't think we need a diagram, but it may help to make the problem readable:

Lines [MATH]\overleftrightarrow{AB}[/MATH] and [MATH]\overleftrightarrow{CD}[/MATH] intersect at point [MATH]E[/MATH]. If [MATH]m\angle AED=(x+10)[/MATH] and [MATH]m\angle CEB=50[/MATH] , find [MATH]x[/MATH].​

What we do need is information about where you need help. Please draw and label your diagram, including the two angles, and then write an equation showing how the angles are related. Then solve for x.

Use the theorem regarding angles created by intersecting straight-lines, that states:

Vertical angles are always congruent​
