Alright there is this one problem I've been having a lot of trouble with

X/.3=4x+6.28

Work

X/.3=4x+6.28
-4x -4x

-3x/.3=6.28

Let's write this in fractions. I don't like decimals. Just a thing.

\(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{x}{\frac{3}{10}}=\frac{10x}{3}\)

and \(\displaystyle 6.28=\frac{157}{25}\)

So, we have \(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{10x}{3}=4x+\frac{157}{25}\)

Subtract 4x from both sides:

\(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{-2x}{3}=\frac{157}{25}\)

Now, can you solve for x?.

Another way

Multiply by 0.3 - both sides - to get rid of fraction

X/.3=4x+6.28

0.3*(X/.3) = 0.3(4x+6.28)

x = 1.2 * x + 1.884

Now ontinue...
