Basically I have a three sided prism, one ball inside it and one ball outside it.
I need to calculate the ratio of the surface of these two balls.
I did and I got 1:5, while the book says the answe is 4:1.
Where did I go wrong?

Can you type the original problem? That would help immensely.

A regular three-sided prism is described around a ball, and a ball is described around it. Determine the ratio of the area of the balls.

It is inscribed, not described.

The problem is actually clearly stated. Please read it again.
