Do you have 21 numbers in each of columns A, B, C and D? Or do you know what A1, A2, etc are?

Also, what is M?

Yes there are 21 numbers in all variables, like columns of values, except M that is a static variable.

\(\displaystyle \Sigma\) is the capital letter sigma in the Greek alphabet. It is equivalent to S in the English alphabet and means to sum. You can use the SUM function in excel to translate sigma notation into excel.

Ok, I would set up two extra columns: AB (fill with the products A*B for each k ) and CD. Then use Sum function in Excel as JeffM said to find the sums of columns B, D, AB and CD. Then you can apply your formula to calculate I.
