~I had a study guide of 35 questions and I got kinda confused on these questions. Really need help.

Find the standard form of the equation of the circle that has center C(-3, -1) and has a radius of 7.
a. (x-3)2+(y-1)2=25
b. (x+3)2+(y+1)2=49
c. (x-3)2+(y-1)2=49
d. (x+3)2+(y+1)2=5
*My answer came to be B. Did I solve this correctly? <<< Yes

Given f(x) = x + 3 and g(x)= 2x - 4, find f(-1) and g(-2)
a. f(-1) = 2; g(-2) = 0
b. f(-1) = 4; g(-2) = 0
c. f(-1) = 4; g(-2) = -8
d. f(-1) = 2; g(-2) = -8
*My answer was A. Was I correct? <<< No ? 2x - 4 = 2(-2) - 4 = -4 - 4 = -8

13. Given f(x) = x2 - 4 if (x < -1), and f(x) = 3x + 2 if (x ? -1), find f(-2) and f(-1).
a. f(-2) = 0; f(-1) = -3
b. f(-2) = 0; f(-1) = -1
c. f(-2) = -4; f(-1) = -1
d. f(-2) = -4; f(-1) = -3
*How do I solve? <<< Just like before! Decide which equation to use - then evaluate

15. If f(x) =2x2+1 and g(x)=x-3, find (f o g)(x).
a. (f o g)(x) = 2x 2 - 17
b. (f o g)(x) = 2x 2 - 12x + 19
c. (f o g)(x) = 2x 2 - 2
d. (f o g)(x) = 2x 2 - 12x + 13
*How do I solve this question?<<< Use the definition of f o g

Thank you so much for any Help you may offer :D !

Looks like footprints of virtual engineering, to me. 8-)

You read my foot-print correctly - kimo-saabi

By mistake - I pressed the "edit" button as opposed to "quote" button. Before that I was editing bunch of spams - and got carried away.
