My question is regarding math measurments LxW and LxWxH?
Why when we write for example LxW we add an exponent 2 and for LxWxH we would add 3, im confused as to what the purpose of it is and what do they represent, i know what an exponent is just not how its used in measurments.*
If we have a lenght thats 2 and a width thats 2 we would get 4 but we would write it as 4^2 and if we use LxWxH we would add ^3.
I remember just using the formula LxWxH to get the answer and thats it, i dont remember no exponent, as for where i seen it, it was on khan acedemy.
