A 35-foot telephone pole casts a 46-foot shadow on the ground while the sun is shining. To the nearest degree, what is the angle of elevation of the sun from the end of the shadow?

First sketch the given situation approximately - and use the definition of angle of elevation and tangent of that angle.

You are putting too much thinner in your red ink: almost pink!
I suggest you REDify it by going to a hockey game and getting some blood :idea:
