a sequence of integers is given...1,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6...
Find the millionth term?

I understand the idea of the pattern, just dont understand how to make a formula for it so i can plug one million in for it.

Maybe it would help putting it like this?

1            = last term is the  1st term
1 2          = last term is the  3rd term
1 2 3        = last term is the  6th term
1 2 3 4      = last term is the 10th term
1 2 3 4 5    = last term is the 15th term
1 2 3 4 5 6  = last term is the 21st term

Where would you expect to get the 1000000th term?
