Question: Wallpaper comes in rolls 5m long and 1m long wide.How many rolls of wallpaper are required to wallpaper the walls in the bedrromk, if the bedroom is 5m by 4m by 2m? You don't wallpaper the ceiling or floor.

My question do I use volume and surface area and what should I start with finding the surface area/volume of the bedroom. I don't know what to do. Please help.

Wall-paper will involve surface area. You have four walls to paper over.

Find the surface area of the four surrounding walls.

You do not have to fool around with volume.
