verify that(sec theta/sintheta)(cot theta/csc theta)=csc theta is an identity
i started / c=hypotenuse a =short side b the long side
(c/b / a/c)(b/a / c/a)= c/a
to old for this but would love help for me to understand again...then i will help / not do the prob for my niece

It's just a matter of knowing some identites.

\(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{sec(x)}{sin(x)}\cdot\frac{cot(x)}{csc(x)}\)

\(\displaystyle \L\\sec(x)cot(x)=\frac{1}{cos(x)}\cdot\frac{cos(x)}{sin(x)}=\frac{1}{sin(x)}=csc(x)\)

\(\displaystyle \L\\sin(x)csc(x)=sin(x)\cdot\frac{1}{sin(x)}=1\)

Therefore, \(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{csc(x)}{1}=csc(x)\)
