1) Kenny and Sharon attended a birthday party. Kenny shook hands with 3 times as many boys as girls. Sharon shook hands with 4 times as many boys as girls. What is the total number of boys and girls at the party?

2)After 2/7 of the adults and 1/3 of the children left a hall, 240 people were left. Later, another 24 children left the hall. How many adults were there in the hall at first if the remaining children is 1/5 of the remaining children in the hall?
