How can I resolve it the way it has it in the text book

Here it is in the text book ...



I understand how it gets to the 2nd last line ... delta t = 2/c . sqrt etc....

But no matter how I try and manipulate it I cannot get the "delta t0 / sqrt(1 - (u^2/c^2))

First divide the numerator and denominator by [imath]c^2[/imath]; then take the square root. You'll get
