(x-5)=0
x=-5

(x+55)=0
x=-55

(5x-1)=0
5x=1
x=1/5

Just so you know, the first one is actually x=5.

hint: seperate the problem into 3 sections equal to zero.....then you can solve them like this:
1.(x-5)=0 2.(x+55)=0 3. (5x-1)=0
