How did they get that answer? '(f-g)(x) is set of 3 points'?

I thought I knew this stuff, but when I got to the review they are asking for ordered pairs... I don't understand how they got to the "acceptable answer". Can anyone help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Unless they specified lists of points as being the domains of each of f(x) and g(x), their "acceptable answers" are not correct.

Re: How did they get that answer? Help please!

(f - g)(x) means f(x) - g(x)

(f*g)(x) means f(x) * g(x)

None of your acceptable answers make sense in this context.
