How far does Riyanto walk?

Riyanto Walks along a level road and then up a hill. At the top the immediately turns and walks back to his starting point. He walks 4 mph on level ground, 3 mph uphill, and 6 mph downhill. If the entire walk take 6 hours, how far does he walk?

H = hill distance
He walks L/4 + H/3 hours going.
He walks L/4 + H/6 hours coming back.
The sum = 6.
Hint: Remember you are not solving for L nor H but for 2L+2H.

so u mean L/4 + H/3 +L/4 + H/6 = 6
then L/2 + H/2 =6
L + H = 12 miles
Since he walked back again to the starting point, so 12 x 2 = 24 Miles

Is that right?
