How is math written in Hebrew?

Hi,
I am not sure why this came to my mind right now but it did.
In Hebrew, one reads from right to left. I am wondering if that is the case with equations.
If in fact it is written from L to R, as math is its own language after all, then what happens in word problems. Since it is not unusual to see an equation in the middle of a word problem and if the words are written R to L and then the equation is written L to R.....well that would certainly make me (more) crazy. I sure hope that it is not that way.

Actually there is no standard font set in LaTeX for Hebrew script.
We do have \(\displaystyle \digamma,~\varkappa,~\beth,~\daleth,~\&~\gimel.\)
Beyond that limited group I cannot help you.
If you want to know the code for any of those you can click 'reply' to see the code.

How about in Kanji (Japanese) script? I think it is written top to down first then it flows right to left.

Try asking Ryan$ by private conversation; he may have experience reading math statements in Hebrew.

I note that translate.google does not reverse the order of equations (or symbolic math statements), but I suppose that doesn't really mean Jack.
