So about the image below, I am asked to write an equation. I know how to do that, but there are a few things I am confused on conceptually. I can identify things from a graph, but what is the difference between a hole and a vertical asymptote on the given graphs below? How do I know which one can be a hole, and which one can be a vertical asymptote? And also, I’m confused about how I can tell whether the horizontal asymptote is 0 or not. What if it was a ratio or a slant asymptote? How would the data set look then?
Also, if anyone knows about any videos that expound on this, can you share them with me?
