How to solve this equations? "Find the slope and y intercept y=-2/3x-5"

Start by studying some lessons about the Slope-Intercept form of a linear equation, so that you can identify which part is the slope and which part is the y-intercept.
You could also look up "Slope-Intercept" in the index of your textbook, if you have one.

You have been given equations in slope-intercept form (here) and have been asked to name the slopes and y-intercepts. All you need to do is copy down the values they've given you.
For example, if they'd given you the equation "y = 3x + 2", you'd write down "slope m = 3, y-intercept is at y = 2".
For the equations that aren't already solved for "y=", do the solving. (here) Then, once you've gotten them rearranged to "y=" form, copy down the values. That's all there is to it!
