I tried many ways and can't seem to write this as an equation.
Thanks

Is it 3 and 4 on the x-axis?

I would begin with the fact that the log has been flipped horizontally and shifted 4 units to the right:

[MATH]f(x)=\log_b(-a(x-4))[/MATH]
And then use:

[MATH]f(3)=\log_b(-a(3-4))=\log_b(a)=0[/MATH]
[MATH]f(1)=\log_b(-a(1-4))=\log_b(3a)=2[/MATH]
What do you get for \(a\) and \(b\)?
