Find solutions for x by using your calculator: sinx=e^x,[0,2pi]View attachment 27990
So, what part of the problem are you able to do? The middle?

I'm guessing you have some sort of graphing calculator; what you can do, and how, depends on the kind of calculator.

Have you tried graphing [MATH]y=\sin(x)[/MATH] and [MATH]y=e^x[/MATH]?

I graphed them both by putting them into y=. Am I supposed to be looking for the intersection?

Because the only intersections that are shown are left bound of the axis so it wouldn’t be in the [0,2pi] range.

Wouldn’t that just mean there are no solutions over the interval given?
Yes, it does. "No solutions" is a valid answer. The solution set is empty.

This, by the way, is why we ask you to show your work:

If you had shown or described your graph, and stated why you didn't think you had a solution, we would have been able to answer without all this back-and-forth!
