Hi,
I have a problem in math. I won't have any problem resolving it further, but I can't start because I don't understand the syntax of the sentence.
(8) Inscribe in a given cone, the height of which is equal to the radius of the base, a cylinder (a) whose volume is a maximum; (b) whose lateral area is a maximum; (c ) whose total area is a maximum.
Is "the height of which is equal to the radius of the base" the height of the cone or the cylinder? And is the base the base of the cylinder or of the cone?
