It says to factor I did but got the wrong answer

here is the problem
6y^3+6y^2-2y-2


the answer that i got was (6y^2-2)(-2y)

what did i do wrong ?

you got the first one right but the second one is wrong
it should be

(y-1)javascript:emoticon(':D')
 
You were supposed to factor by grouping .

you answer shoul have been : (6y^2+2)(y+1) :)
