calc in economics. A company estimates that if it sells its product for x dollars each, it would sell 300/x^3 units PER WEEK. It costs the company 2 dollars to produce each unit. How much profit(in dollars) does the company make on EACH UNIT that it sells?

Well it is BETTER to post calculus questions on the calculus page, but no big deal.

Are you sure that you have given the question actually asked? I ask because what you asked above is not a caculus question.

Revenue = x per unit.
Cost = 2 per unit.

So, profit per unit = ?

Or did the question ask what is the profit maximizing price and what is the profit per unit at that price?
