I just can't get this function thing!!! More help please?!

I'm studyinig for a Math quiz, and I do my school on a computer, so that makes it easier to study. So I'm practicing with functions and it asks me if, {(0, 1), (-2, 5), (3, 7)} is a function. Now I know the answer, which is, yes. Can someone explain why?

I found out.

I found the answer out. In case anyone wants to know, I did the vertical line test, and it said that the answer was a function. thanks anyway.

Another way:

the inputs are {0, -2, 3} - all different (no repeats).

Hence it will pass vertical line test.
