6x^4(-6x-14)-(-3x^2-14x-15)
-----------------------------------(divided by)
6x^6

if that doesn't make sense, here's this version

[6x^4(-6x-14)-(-3x^2-14x-15)] / (6x^6)

Can you apply the Distributive Property to the pair of factors in the numerator ?

6x^4(-6x - 14) = ?

Subtracting -3x^2 - 14x - 15 from the result above is the same as adding 3x^2 + 14x + 15 to it.

The numerator simplifies to a 5th-degree polynomial.

The denominator is a 6th-degree polynomial.

That algebraic ratio does not reduce.
