I need help with int [(x^4 - 1)/(x^2 + 1)] dx

I dont know how do solve the INT (x^4-1) / (x^2+1) dx

I tried seperating x^4 / (x^2+1) dx + -1 / (x^2+1) but that didnt work.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Try factoring.

x^4 - 1 = (x^2+1)(x^2-1)

so then i would end up with the

INT x^2-1 dx

= 1/3x^3 - x +c would that be the answer??
